T-Ball / Coach Pitch – What to Expect
T-Ball and Coach Pitch are a great introduction to baseball with a focus on fun and learning the basic rules.
T-Ball – Focused on 5-year-olds. Players hitting off a tee, and each player bats each inning.
Coach Pitch – Focused on 6-year-olds. Coaches will throw players about 5 pitches, and if the player doesn’t hit one, the ball will be placed on a tee so they can finish their at bat. Each player bats each inning.
Teams and Friends – Teams are generally organized with others from the same school and we try to accommodate as many friend requests as possible.
Practices and Games – There is one practice during the week and a game on Saturday mornings. Games are played at Laurel and Encinal school fields. Games are usually 3-4 innings.
Baseball age – A player’s 2023 Little League age is determined by the child’s age on August 31, 2023. The Little League Age calculator can be found here: Link
Please spread the words especially to those with younger players who may not already be part of M-A Little League community!
