More details on the Fall Ball schedule:

The Fall Ball season will run from September 11th through November 5th.

Fall Ball is focused on player development and combines a mix of skill clinics, fun non-traditional practices/competitions, and regular game experiences to prepare players for the upcoming spring season.

The current planned structure for Fall Ball is to have the first 3 weeks of the season (September 11th – October 1st) be comprised of our teaching clinics, with 2 weekday sessions led by local baseball coaches and players (including the M-A High School Team, Stanford players, M-ALL coaches and the like) and with planned hitting cage sessions on the weekends (likely Saturdays).  Clinics are tentatively planned at this point for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 or 4:30pm – 6pm (but subject to change).

The last 5 weeks of the season (October 2nd – November 5th) will include competitive game action for the teams spread across different game formats to keep the season developmentally engaging and invigorating for the kids.  Some of those formats will include cross-town games against Fall Ball teams in the Alpine Little League program, games against each of our own teams and a weekend or two of “Speed Ball” formatted games.  Games will always be on Sundays.  It is planned that the Fall Ball season will conclude with a Jamboree style tournament for one of the early weekends in November (dates/times still TBD).

We realize that some players plan to participate in multiple sports in the fall, so we do our best to accommodate these schedules so players can play both.

Additionally, Fall Ball also offers a way for players and parents to stay connected with the M-A community. This year we’re planning to add more fall social events to continue to build the Little League camaraderie, including a Fall Ball family picnic, movie night on the Burgess Majors Diamond and other events.

See you on the field!
